A nemzeti csapatban 107 alkalommal l\u00e9pett p\u00e1ly\u00e1ra. Szerepelt az 1970-es vil\u00e1gbajnoks\u00e1gon, valamint az 1971-es \u00e9s 1975-\u00f6s Eur\u00f3pa-bajnoks\u00e1gon, el\u0151bbin pedig 5. helyez\u00e9st szerzett.<\/p>\n<p>A f\u0151iskola elv\u00e9gz\u00e9se ut\u00e1n 1980-ig a Bp. Honv\u00e9d SE-ben j\u00e1tszott, majd \u00e9lsportol\u00f3i p\u00e1lyafut\u00e1s\u00e1t k\u00f6vet\u0151en a P\u00e9nz\u00fcgy\u0151rben r\u00f6plabd\u00e1zott m\u00e9g t\u00f6bb \u00e9vtizedig. 1991-ben tagja volt az Argent\u00edn\u00e1ban megrendezett veter\u00e1n vil\u00e1gbajnoks\u00e1gon arany\u00e9rmet szerzett r\u00f6plabda v\u00e1logatott csapatnak.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mitsportoljak.hu\/dr-petrekanits-mate-kituntetese\/\">Dr. Petrekanits M\u00e1t\u00e9<\/a>, ed. Phys, a terhel\u00e9s\u00e9lettan egyik legismertebb hazai szak\u00e9rt\u0151je. Semmelweis Egyetem Testnevel\u00e9si \u00e9s Sporttudom\u00e1nyi Kar (TF) Terhel\u00e9s\u00e9lettani Laborat\u00f3rium vezet\u0151je, 42 \u00e9ves tudom\u00e1nyos munk\u00e1ss\u00e1ga alatt j\u00f3val sz\u00e1zezer feletti vizsg\u00e1latot v\u00e9gzett el sportol\u00f3k, fegyveres test\u00fcletek sz\u00e1m\u00e1ra.
